US dollar mixed in Europe

(AP) - The U.S. dollar was mixed against other major currencies in European trading Friday morning. Gold rose.
The euro traded at $1.5790, up from $1.5783 late Thursday in New York.

_1.0275 Swiss francs, unchanged
_1.0119 Canadian dollars, up from 1.0087
The British pound was quoted at $1.9770, down from $1.9775.
Gold traded in London at $ 949.00 per troy ounce, up from $930.75 late Thursday.
