(AP)  -  A minor league pitcher accused of throwing a ball that hit a fan during a brawl has been charged with felonious assault.

Peoria Chiefs pitcher Julio Castillo was arrested Thursday following the fight with the Single-A Dayton Dragons. The fan hit by the ball was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Montgomery County Jail officials say the 21-year-old Castillo is scheduled to be arraigned Friday. Video from the game shows Castillo throwing the ball but doesn't show where the ball landed.

The fan's name and condition weren't immediately available.

Umpires ejected 15 players and the team's managers following the bench-clearing brawl that lasted about 10 minutes. After an hour delay, Dayton won 6-5.
